David Harris is a Midwest Emmy Award Winning comedian and magician from Minneapolis, Minnesota who performs nationwide. By starting professionally at the ripe age of 14, David now has over 2000 appearances under his belt. He appears at clubs, colleges, corporate events, and other top venues across the U.S. and Canada. David’s personal and person-driven approach to performing is clean, interactive and tailored to each audience he entertains – even grandmas.
David’s been invited to perform in 17 different states and more than 20 times alone by his alma mater, The University of Minnesota. In 2016, David was asked by his comic peers to perform in the Twin Cities’ own 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival. Then, in 2017, David headlined Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy at the Mall of America – a coveted accomplishment. Over the years, David’s been lucky to share the stage with some of the best in the business. This includes legendary comics Louie Anderson, Bobby Slayton, and Mary Lynn Rajskub. David also regularly hosts and produces an ongoing variety and talk show called, “Modern Vaudeville.” The show features some of the regions top performers and takes place at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater in Minneapolis.
Back in 2005-2006, David won two Midwest Emmys for a sketch comedy TV show that he co-produced and co-starred in. It was called, “Nate on Drums.” The show aired to a cult following on the Twin Cities ABC TV sister-affiliate, KSTC. David has since appeared on numerous ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC TV affiliates to rave reviews. David’s additionally starred in other award-winning ads, videos and TV commercials, including a recent spot for Panchero’s Mexican Grill. It aired for over five years, regionally. In short, David’s a born entertainer who is sure to please — and he’s not even close to finished.
